Elektroprivreda BiH Plans Investments of EUR 870 Million in Next Three Years

As specified in the press release EP BiH plans to invest BAM 345.2 million (EUR 176.5 million) in the production, BAM 206.4 million (EUR 105.5 million) in the distribution of electrical energy and BAM 5.4 million (EUR 2.75 million) in the supply and trade, the Indikator portal reports.
Elektroprivreda BiH also intends to invest BAM 70 million (EUR 35.8 million) in the capital increase in its coal mines.
The list of priority projects includes: construction of Block 7 of the Thermal Power Plant Tuzla, the Mini Hydro Power Plant Neretvica, hydro power plants Vranduk, Janjici and Una Kostela and wind farm Vlasic.
The total value of those projects is BAM 4.23 billion (EUR 2.16 billion), and EP BiH would allocate BAM 1.02 billion (EUR 521.5 million) for them in the 2021-2023 period.
Elektroprivreda BiH plans to produce 18,433 GWh of electrical energy and procure 13.9 million tons of coal in a three-year period.
