MALI: Completion of transaction for Komercijalna Banka by the end of the year

Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali expects the transaction for Komercijalna Banka to be completed by the end of the year and a sum of EUR 395 million to be paid to the budget.

– I expect this to be completed on December 30 and a payment of EUR 395 million. I believe that it is very important – Mali said for TV Pink.

He added that it showed that Serbia was an attractive destination and that, in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic and the biggest economic crisis, the purchaser of Komercijalna Banka, the Slovenian NLB, had stuck to its decision to acquire Komercijalna Banka, because, according to Mali, it believes in the Serbian market and its strategy.
