Opportunity for Transporters – Platform Which Will Bring Steady Work for Transport Companies and Better Prices for Users

One of the biggest challenges for transporters, especially when it comes to younger companies, is finding steady work. In the transport industry, periods during which there are no new jobs are usual. In response to this problem, the Serbian startup Transport Connecting has developed a platform which will help transporters maintain a continuity of operations and bring more favorable prices to users.

– I have been active in the transport business for a long time and I know very well what kind of problems this industry is facing. Primarily, there’s the problem of continuity. You’ve got work for several days and then your trucks stand unused. New companies need time to get regular clients and develop their business. Our platform will help them position in the market – explains Stefan Marinkovic, the director of Transport Connecting.

What makes this platform special is that both the transporters and the users of transporting services will be able to make deals in a simple way, through an app that they will subscribe to. In line with their offer, the transporters will constantly get adequate inquests.

A company which offers dump trucks, reefer trucks or van transport will be able to compete, through an auction, and improve its competitiveness in the market. On the other hand, the users will get more favorable prices of goods transport services quickly and easily.

Transport Connecting is in the phase of final negotiations with foreign investors and it is planning development in the European market. Marinkovic points out that this kind of platform does not yet exist in Europe and that, due to this and the potentials of the platform, the investors are delighted. The implementation of a currency converter and the possibility of use of several languages are also planned.

– There will be a system of subscription to the platform for both our market and the European market. Those who are procuring the service will not pay for the agreement itself. Relative to the number of successful monthly auctions of the clients, we plan to provide substantial discounts as well. In that sense, there will be a possibility of a full exemption from the subscription and the possibility of free advertising on our site and our platform. A test period will also be enabled then – Marinkovic says.
