Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Mlađan Dinkić visited Impol Seval and the aluminum mill in Sevojno yesterday (April 27, 2010) and pointed out on that occasion that aforementioned mill was one of the first companies in our country to come out from the recession in practice.
He said that that inspired optimism that the path of Impol Seval would soon be followed by complete domestic economy sector and pointed out that that company had adequately increased the salaries of its employees in return for the record production and export, so that they were approximately 50% above the Republic average.
According to his words, over the past seven years, ever since Impol from Slovenska Bistrica became the majority owner of the aluminum mill, EUR 37m have been invested in Impol Seval's production units.
As he explained, that resulted in multiple growth of production, productivity and export value, while the new investment cycle worth EUR 13m will be started this year.
CEO of Impol Seval, Ninko Tešić, pointed out that that company had increased the production in the first quarter of 2010 by 53.2% against the same period in 2008, while EUR 20.5m worth of goods had been exported to foreign markets.
Tešić said that, in addition to record production, record export of over EUR 100m was also expected in 2010. He also explained that that optimism was built on the fact that the complete production was sold by the end of July, over 90% of which would be exported.
