Izo-Ekomont from Obrenovac opens pipe factory in Vlasenica

Izo-Ekomont from Obrenovac, which deals with production and installation of pipes, will soon open a modern factory for production of all types of pipes in the municipality of Vlasenica in Republic of Srpska.

The Mayor of Vlasenica, Mladen Popović, said that Izo-Ekomont's big investments would benefit both company and inhabitants of that small underdeveloped municipality.

- The pipe factory in Vlasenica is the first of the kind in Republic of Srpska, so that the pipes produced in Vlasenica will also be exported to foreign markets - said Popović.

The opportunity to get job in the factory will be given to about 50 unemployed people and, as Popović explained, Izo-Ekomont has already made the factory's development strategy for the next three years.

Izo-Ekomont was founded in 1994 with the aim of organizing production of pre-insulated systems, the new modern method of heating energy distribution in urban areas, by using the latest technical-technological achievements.

Production is brought in accord with European norms: EN 253 - pre-insulated bonded pipe systems, EN 448 - pre-insulated fitting assemblies, EN 488 - pre-insulated valve assemblies, and EN 489 - pre-insulated joints.
