Tesla Company Arrives to Zagreb – First Store Opens

Elon Musk's electric cars are now available in Croatia.

Tesla had announced the opening of a store in Zagreb for the first quarter of 2020, and two months ago, the company placed a job add for two full-time employees for the office in Zagreb.

A year ago, Musk tweeted that offices were to open in Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia and most other states of Eastern Europe in the first half of 2020, before anyone could guess that a pandemic would occur.

The arrival of Tesla to Croatia could have a considerable impact on the company's sales of electric cars in this market. So far, purchasers have been reluctant to choose Tesla cars precisely because of the lack of local support, an important factor when it comes to electric cars, due to the servicing.

The closest sales location of Tesla has been in Ljubljana.

Tesla Motors opened its first store in Zagreb at Avenue Mall. The offer consists of Tesla Model 3, X and S, with the prices ranging from 327,490 kunas (EUR 43,250) for Model 3 to 1,057,490 kunas (EUR 139,659) for the most luxury Model S.
