NBS' Council accepted Jelašić's resignation

The Council of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) accepted Radovan Jelašić's resignation from the position of the Governor of the National Bank today (April 6, 2010).

According to the announcement, the Council will now submit the report to the Board of Finance of the Serbian Parliament in order for the National Parliament to make the final decision.

Radovan Jelašić submitted the irrevocable letter of resignation from the position of the Governor of NBS on March 23, 2010, for, as he explained, personal reasons.
