Vucic Announces Opening of Factories in Northern Montenegro and Employment of Hundreds

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced important investments in Montenegro in an interview fro TV Vijesti. As he pointed out, Serbia is planning to open factories in towns such as Bijelo Polje and Berane, as well as the employment of several hundred people.


He pointed out that he was “proud to give considerable amounts of money to Serbian organizations in Montenegro for the purpose of preservation the Serbian language and script”, but also that he had helped the people of Montenegro and that he had made a minority Montenegrin party part of the local authorities in Mali idjos.

Vucic says that millions of euros were not a large amount for Serbia and the the country would continue investing and “helping its people”.

He also added that Serbia had surpassed Montenegro when it comes to the average salary and that it had a lower public debt than Montenegro. Vucic said that there was no possibility of taking over the debt for the highway from China.
