Centroproizvod increases export, €2.5m invested in new production lines

Company Centroproizvod has represented its business results in 2005. If repayment of credit in amount of €5m is not included, about €3.5m have been invested in reorganization and equipping of the company in the first ten months of this year, whereas the value of the export exceeded amount of €2.5m. According to the words of financial director Nemanja Popov, for the first time after four years Centroproizvod registered profit. Speaking of investments, Popov mentioned that the procurement of new production lines for production of “cipiripi”, which cost about €2.5m, was one of the biggest projects. Also, the new packing line for "začin C" (spice) and machine for packing of ground coffee have been bought, the motor pool has been rehabilitated and investments made in repair of business facilities.

The representatives of the management pointed out that the aim of the company was to become regional leader thanks to the products Centroproizvod was famous of. Also, export growth of over 50% and introduction of the highest quality standards ISO 9002 and HACCP, which will enable export to the countries of European Union, are in the pipeline.
