Construction of Pristina-Merdare Highway to Begin in Spring

The construction of the Pristina-Merdare highway is to begin in the spring of 2021, and its construction will cost EUR 250 million, stated the minister of infrastructure at the temporary institutions in Pristina, Arban Abrashi.

He said this at a press conference in Pristina and reminded that the project had been agreed at the White House on September 4, in addition to some other infrastructural projects, the Lajmi portal reports.

He also said that certain positive steps had been taken toward some other projects and that the pertinent agreements would be reached at the meeting with representatives of the DFC on Monday.

Abrashi also added that a feasibility study for the construction of railway infrastructure to Merdare and for the section to the Adriatic Sea had been prepared.
