Tunnel Putnikovo Brdo 2 on Corridor 5C to be Built by Autoputevi RS and Autoceste FBiH

The directors of the companies Autoputevi Republike Srpske and Autoceste Federacije BiH, Dusan Topic and Adnan Terzic, have talked about the cooperation of the two companies on joint projects, among which is the construction of the Putnikovo Brdo 2 tunnel within the realization of the project of the highway section between the Rudanka interchange and the entity line on Corridor 5C.

– Considering that a part of this tunnel passes through the other entity, it is necessary to define the mutual relations, rights and obligations of the companies in charge of the construction, maintenance and management of highways in Srpska and FBiH – Autoputevi Srpske announced on its website.

At the meeting between Topic and Terzic, an earlier agreement for the full construction of the tunnel to be realized as part of the project of the construction of said section of Corridor 5C and for a part of the costs of the construction on the territory of FBiH to be handled by the competent enterprise, Autoceste FBiH, were confirmed.

– The defining of the details of the agreement is expected in the upcoming period – Autoputevi Srpske says.

Close cooperation between the two companies is also expected in the construction of a highway in the area of the Brcko District, considering that the highway section between Doboj and Raca and the Serbian border, as well as a leg of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, from the direction of FBiH, should pass through that territory.

– The details of the realization of this project will be discussed in the upcoming period, at meetings with the heads of the district – Autoputevi Srpske adds.

The meeting between Topic and Terzic about the cooperation on joint projects planned by the two companies in the near future was held in Banjaluka.
