EU gives 4.8m EUR for water factory in Kruševac

Thanks to the European Union's donation of 4.8m EUR, Kruševac will, after complete reconstruction of the water factory in Majdevo, increase the capacity of drinking water to 1,000 liters per second.

The CEO of public company Vodovod Kruševac, Slobodan Lazić, says that, thanks to the installed modern technology and completion of works on the surroundings of Ćelije lake, Kruševac and neighboring cities will get technologically healthy drinking water for the next 50 years.

Within the scope of this project, the pipeline will reach Varvarin, while Kruševac's regional water supply system already supplies water to Aleksandrovac and Trstenik. This large investment should be finished in one year.
