The Municipality of Knic was pronounced the best local self-government in Southeast Europe at the 9th Business International Summit, held in Vrnjacka Banja under the slogan “Uposlimo Srbiju”.

The Grand Prix was awarded to Srecko Ilic, the president of the municipality of Knic. He expressed his gratitude and emphasized that it was a recognition of the hard work and the progress of the municipality of Knic in the preceding four years, it is said on the municipality's website.
