Memorandum signed on cooperation between Serbian and Austrian ministries of economy


- Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mlađan Dinkić and Austrian Minister of Economy Reinhold Mitterlehner signed the Memorandum yesterday (March 25, 2010) on economic cooperation at the level of authorized ministries - it is announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
Dinkić, who is in one-day working visit to Vienna, pointed out that the aim of that memorandum was to further improve economic, trade and investment cooperation between Serbia and Austria.
- The sectors that this document determines as crucial for cooperation are: infrastructure, automotive industry, IT sector, electronics, banking, building, agriculture and food industry, transport and logistics, tourism, environment protection and renewable energy sources - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister announced.
He added that the Memorandum also anticipated improvement of investment opportunities, promotion of joint appearance in third markets, exchange of experiences, advanced training, as well as promotion of trade exchange, joint investments and production cooperation.
As he pointed out, the memorandum also anticipates forming of a joint expert commission that will meet once a year to review the whole picture of economic cooperation and possible problems in its realization.
