EY Entrepreneur of the Year Contest Opens – Applications by November 20

The auditing and consulting company Ernst & Young – EY has opened the ninth contest for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year (TM) program, which is open until November 20.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year (TM) program has existed on a global level for over 30 years, and in Serbia it was first realized in 2012, the press release says and reminds that, in the past eight years, more than 200 entrepreneurs have competed for titles in two subcategories – EY Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year and EY Fast Growing Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as the prestigious acknowledgment EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Serbia.

As always, the winner of the national contest in Serbia will compete against the winners from countries worldwide for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year (TM) in June 2021, and the program has been supported by the Ministry of Economy of Serbia.

– Entrepreneurship, as the most agile part of the economy, has once again showed that it can face great challenges, even situations of uncertainty when it comes to business in the global market that we have faced this year. Due to this, we believe even more in the strength of local entrepreneurship and we believe that our work toward the affirmation of entrepreneurs through the EY Entrepreneur of the Year (TM) program is a true contribution to promoting the success of local entrepreneurship – said the Country Managing Partner at EY Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ivan Rakic.

An independent jury will select the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 program. The jury consists of other entrepreneurs that operate in Serbia, and their decision will be based on key success factors such as entrepreneurial spirit, financial indicators, strategic orientation, presence in the regional or the international market, innovations and personal integrity.

It is reminded that taking part in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program does not entail any costs or obligations from the candidates.

By taking part in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year (TM) program, the best entrepreneurs in Serbia have an opportunity to increase the network of contacts and build relations with local and global entrepreneurship leaders.
