Droga Kolinska to be offered for sale in late March

- The information memorandum for sale of Droga Kolinska will be announced next week (March 29, 2010) - portal SEEbiz learned from unofficial sources.

The deadline for submission of non-binding bids will be the end of April.

The biggest Slovenian food company is offered for sale because the owner of 95% of the company - Istrabenz, must pay the debt of 100m EUR to creditors this year. If it fails to settle the debts, the banks may seek bankruptcy again.

Mainly private investment funds are, allegedly, interested in acquisition of Droga. The sale procedure is run by French bank BNP Paribas, which got the mandate for that in 2008.
