Fiat automobili Srbija to halt production between March 24 and April 1 - preparations for new models

Fiat automobili Srbija announced on Friday (March 19, 2010) that it would halt the production in Kragujevac between March 24th and April 1st in order to start preparations for production of new models of automobiles.

According to the announcement, these nine days will be used for relocation of the finishing line sector of the assembly unit to the part where the renovation of the factory is started.

Fiat automobili Srbije, the joint venture of Italian Fiat and the Government of Serbia, is now producing Punto in Kragujevac and it plans to start production of two new models.
