International tender for construction of wastewater treatment plant in Nis worth EUR 50 million by end-September

An international tender for the construction of wastewater treatment facility in Nis will open this month, the President of Nis City Municipality of Palilula, Bratislav Vuckovic said.

According to him, the opening of tender was announced by the Ministry of Finance.

– This project for construction of wastewater management plant, the value of over EUR 50 million has been on the agenda of the local authorities for decade. The project encompasses around 4km of the existing sewage collector, about 20 km of new one, around 26 km of sewage system in rural areas, pumping stations on the network and the construction of wastewater management plant at the location “Ciganski Kljuc” and the wastewater treatment at VTP Medijana, Vuckovic said.
