Direct flights to Madrid from May 28th - from Belgrade to Spain's capital city and back for 100 EUR

Belgrade will soon get a direct air connection with the capital city of Spain - Madrid. As Blic finds out, Spanish airliner Spanair plans to start flying twice a week directly from Belgrade to Madrid from May 28th, while the lowest price of the return flight may be about 100 EUR.
After Spanair announced it would launch direct flights from Barcelona to several European destinations, including Belgrade, a new information came from this Spanish air transportation company. The company is also going to launch new flights to Madrid. As Blic learns, when it comes to direct flights from Madrid, Spanair selected only two new destinations to fly to - Birmingham and Belgrade. The first flight from Madrid to Belgrade will take place on May 28, 2010. There will be two flights a week - on Friday and Sunday. Landing at the Belgrade airport is at 10.05 AM, while the departure for Madrid is at 10.50 AM.
It is interesting that Spanair's representatives announced earlier that they wanted to see how the newly launched Belgrade-Barcelona flight functioned before considering launching the flight from Madrid to Belgrade. That is why the launching of the second air route in such short time seems surprising.
