Tehnopan Expanding Operations – Show Room and 2,000-m2 Storage to be Built in Smederevo Industrial Zone

The company Tehnopan from Smederevo, which distributes materials for finishing works, is expanding its business by building a new business space with a storage facility. As Aleksandar Curovic, the owner and director of this company, says for eKapija, the construction should begin in September.

– We are building a new sales space, a show room and a storage facility in the Smederevo Industrial Zone. The total area of both facilities will be around 2,000 m2 and the construction starts in September. The plan was to complete the construction by the end of the year, and although the pandemic has slightly slowed down the plans, we hope that we will fulfill the plan – Curovic says.

Tehnopan already has two sales facilities for the distribution of paints, coatings and construction materials, as well as the necessary painting tools, in Smederevo.

The urban project envisages the construction of two facilities:

– the business part (sales and show room) – a wholesale and retail building, on over 400 m2 and

– the storage part – and indoor facility with at least 3 sides, of up to 1,500 m2.

The business part is planned as a unified sales and show room on two levels, with a separate part for auxiliary rooms and administration – office. The two floors are to be connected by an interior staircase. In front of the facility, toward the access road, the entrance canopy and the main entrance to the facility are planned, and the evacuation exit is to be located in the rear of the building.

The storage part complements the business part functionally. Truck access to the storage part is available through the new maneuvering area in the middle of the building parcel, and pedestrian access is enabled in the section of the facility oriented toward the access road and, from the rear, toward the neighboring parcel.
