Ukrainian Airline Company SkyUp to Introduce Kiev-Belgrade Airline

The new Ukrainian low-cost airline company SkyUp intends to establish a direct line between Kiev and Belgrade in October.

SkyUp has added Belgrade to its network of lines that it plans to launch within the winter flight schedule.

On August 7, SkyUp first announced lines to 14 European destinations from its operating base at the Boryspil Airport (KBP) in Kiev.

Lines to Prague and Pardubice in the Czech Republic, Bergamo, Rome (Fiumicino) and Naples in Italy, Tbilisi and Batumi in Georgia, Poprad in Slovakia, Paris, Yerevan, Nice, Lisbon, as well as Barcelona and Alicante in Spain, were first announced.

Only a few days later, the company announced that they were expanding the network to include flights to other cities from October 25.

There will be flights from Kiev to Belgrade, Bratislava, Stockholm, Amman and Colombo. New lines will also be established from Lviv to Dubai, Naples, Prague, Paris and Tel Aviv and from Kharkov to Prague, Dubai and Paris. The line between Kiev and Istanbul was announced previously.

All the flights are already available on the company's website, and the prices of one-way tickets to Belgrade, luggage not included, start at USD 44.

Flight schedule

According to the published flight schedule, SkyUp will launch flights on the Kiev (KBP) – Belgrade (BEG) line on October 27, 2020, with two flights a week: Tuesdays and Fridays. The flights will be carried out by Boeing 737-700 with 149 passenger seats.
