Slobodan Marković – the first Serb in administration of planetary Internet

According to the announcement of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Number ICANN with the headquarters in Los Angeles, the president of NGO Internet Development Center, Slobodan Marković, has been appointed to the administrative post in the Board for National Internet Domains. As the representative of European region, Marković has been elected among 72 candidates on period of three years.

ICANN manages the system of unique identifiers (domains and IP numbers). The Internet Development Center was founded in 2001.
