International Conference on Traditional Building, Architecture and Urban Planning to be Held Virtually

The International Conference on Traditional Building, Architecture and Urban Planning: Architecture and Community will be held virtually on November 13-14, 2020.

The aim is to promote the creation of places and buildings which fit into the local culture and tradition and respect the environment and its natural resources. The conference also aims to provide a better insight into traditional constructive cultures in various regions of the world and, with that, enable a greater respect among them, so as to contribute to a better preservation and continuity, it has been announced on the website of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade.

It is added that all the academics and practitioners of traditional building, architecture and urban planning that carry out their activity or are interested in the scope of the topics proposed for this conference may submit proposals to be presented at it.

– All proposals will go through a selection process and may be accepted for being presented at the conference and/or published in the new Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urban Planning – it is said.
