Italian Supermarket Chain Eurospin Arriving to Croatia

The Italian supermarket chain Eurospin is to open its first supermarket in Croatia in a few days.

The first store is to open on Thursday in Zadar, and it is the first of the announced 100 stores in Croatia.

The chain's arrival to Croatia has been discussed since late 2018, when they placed ads for workers and business space, the Index portal reports.

– We are glad and proud to announce the opening of the first Eurospin store in Croatia. We'll see you on August 13 in the city with the most beautiful sunset in the world – Zadar, here we come! – Eurospin announced in late July.

The chain offers its own brands at its stores.

It is a discount store chain which specializes in food products and everyday shopping.

Eurospin was founded in 1993. Most of its stores are in Italy, and the first store in Slovenia opened in 2004. There are now over 50 Eurospin stores in Slovenia.
