- Air transportation company BH Airlines is slowly but certainly becoming a regional brand, just like we planned - the CEO of this company, Nudžeim Rečica, said in Antalya.
The press conference for the journalists from both Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina was also attended by the representatives of Turkish Airlines, the company's partner. During the presentation of the results achieved by the company in 2009, people could hear that the plans were not completely fulfilled, but that it was expected that the revoking of the visa regime would result in increase of the company's profit by about 20% in 2010.
The company's management also announced large number of ambitious projects that they plan to implement in association with the partners from Turkey.
- We will soon launch new flights to Banja Luka, Zagreb and Belgrade. Particularly interesting is the route to Banja Luka, which will include 11 flights a week, so that it will take only about 20 minutes to reach Sarajevo from that town. This will, definitely, contribute to closing of the gap between these cities, but it will also connect Banja Luka with the whole world - said Rečica.
BH Airlines currently has four airplanes. It plans to procure more planes and launch new lines in association with Turkish Airlines, which owns about 49% of the national airliner. Special attention will be paid to the routes to Scandinavia and America where the biggest number of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina live.
