View of the Danube from old Dorćol – residential-business complex Galerija Apartmani opened


Residential-business complex Galerija Apartmani, 50 Francuska Street, in which 17m EUR was invested, was ceremoniously opened last night (February 25, 2010). There are still 50 apartments of various size and 1,000 square meters of office space in that modern facility for the interested buyers to choose from.
- What is left in the offer are studio and five-room apartments. The prices range from 2,200 to 2,700 EUR per square meter. I would like to point to penthouse apartments whose main features are their position and the view of the city downtown and the Danube. These apartments cost about 3,000 per square meter – Aleksandar Zavišić, the CEO of Ocean Atlantic International, told eKapija.
He points out that the offer also includes 1,000 square meters of office space whose one square meter costs 2,400 EUR plus VAT.
- So far we have rented the most space for offices, but we would like the contents of outlets to suit the tenants, so that the best solution would be a supermarket or a beauty parlor – said Zavišić.
Galerija Apartmani (Gallery Apartments) occupies 18,500 square meters at nine levels above and three levels under the ground. Underground garage in the facility is at the lowest level in Belgrade, seven meters under the surface of the Danube. About 130 domestic companies participated in realization of the project whose investors are Ocean Atlantic International and Immoeast.
The opening ceremony of Galerija Apartmani was supplemented by the exhibition of photos of old Dorćol taken by famous artist Nebojša Babić. The photos will be on display in the hall of Galerija Apartmani within next thirty days, after which they will be offered to the buyers on an auction. Ocean Atlantic International decided to give the funds from the sale of photos for the Street Kids Shelter program.
