Lazarevac-based furniture showroom Stefila got new owner - no bidders for land and facility

Only the furniture showroom in Lazarevac was sold for 14m RSD at the first auction for sale of the bankruptcy property of Valjevo-based furniture and packaging production company Stefil.

There were no potential buyers interested in Stefil's land and facilities in suburban settlement Gorić, of which starting price was 400m RSD. Total of 14 ha of land and 30,000 square meters of production halls, warehouses and other facilities were offered for sale.

The sale of furniture showroom Stefil in Kladovo was also unsuccessful.

According to the land-utilization plan, the location of Stefil in Gorić was supposed to be turned into an industrial zone, but there was no money in Valjevo's budget for purchase of that land. Stefil's debts to its employees, the Tax Administration and other creditors amount to about 1.5bn RSD.
