Regional summit on energy safety in Budapest on February 24

The Summit on energy safety in the region, organized by the Visegrad Group presided by Hungary, will be held tomorrow (February 24, 2010) in Budapest.
Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković will participate in the Summit, which will be dedicated to the issues of oil and gas deliveries, transit, early warning mechanisms, networking of capacities.
The participants will also talk about Nabuko project, energy corridors, relations between the EU and Russia when it comes to energy, as well as European-American energy dialogue.
The Summit that will be held "behind the closed door" will be attended by the prime ministers of Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria, as well as representatives of the European Commission and Spain, which is presiding over the EU, and the USA.
Members of the Visegrad Group are Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
