– Due to the digitization of the internal processes and a drop in income caused by the coronavirus pandemic, HGK is entering the next phase of reorganization, which entails a reduction of the number of employees by 30% – the press release says.
They point out that everyone has had to adapt to the new reality overnight, with Croatian companies being most affected. HGK adds that the difficulties experienced by the companies are reflected on the whole society.
This kind of a situation, HGK says, entails a considerable drop in the income.
– For all these reasons, we've decided to start the next phase of reorganization of HK earlier, which, unfortunately, entails a reduction of the number of the employees by 30%. It is never easy to make a decision to lay off people, but it cannot be avoided – says the press release reported by the Index portal.
HGK employs slightly over 500 workers.
