CVETKOVIĆ: It is necessary to improve economic cooperation with Egypt

- The Prime Minister of Serbia, Mirko Cvetković, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Ahmed Abdul Gate, agreed on Sunday, February 14th, in Belgrade that it was necessary to improve the economic cooperation between the two countries - the Government of Serbia announced.

It is stated in the announcement that Cvetković said that the visit of Egyptian Minister represented the proof of "exceptional bilateral relations and traditional friendship of Serbia and Egypt".

- We very appreciate the principal position of Egypt towards compliance with international law when it comes to the status of Kosovo and Metohia, as well as Egypt's participation in the procedure of determination of legality of unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo and Metohia - said the Prime Minister of Serbia.

- One of the conclusions from the meeting is that there is a big potential for the growth of foreign-trade exchange in the field of investments as well. It was also pointed out that the forthcoming visit of Egyptian entrepreneurs to Serbia, which is scheduled for February 25th, was of exceptional importance - it is stated in the announcement by the Government of Serbia.
