Tender for services of construction supervision of Nis-Plocnik semi highway opens – Deadline for bid submission August 17

Corridors of Serbia has opened for the services of supervision of construction of (semi-)highway from Nis (Merosina) to Plocnik (Beloljin)

The project involves the construction of the semi-highway 32.7 km long with the deck width of 11.5 km in flat and hilly terrain.

Other auxiliary structures include 5 grade-separate junctions, 16 bridges, eight overpasses and underpasses, six tunnels around 2,670 km long and auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment and infrastructure. Drainage system and horizontal and vertical signalization will also be installed.

The Government of Serbia secured a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the construction of this highway and the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) provide another grant for the project.

The estimated investment cost, including compulsory acquisition of land and extraordinary situations is EUR 255 million without VAT. The estimated cost for supervision services is EUR 10 million without VAT.
