Decision on Russian loan of 800m USD to be made in February

The Ambassador of Russia, Aleksandar Konuzin, says that the facilities that will be included in the infrastructure part of the Russian loan should definitely be selected in February.

- Unfortunately, Serbian side is late with sending supplemental materials, which are necessary for realization of this deal, and that automatically postpones deadlines for its realization - said Konuzin and reminded that it was the loan of 800m USD.

- We are, however, counting on definite selection of facilities at the next joint meeting in February, after which Serbian side will be informed on our decision - said Konuzin.

According to Konuzin, Serbian side has listed four projects whose realization it wants to finance from the Russian loan - development of Belgrade's railway hub, including the completion of railway station Prokop, reconstruction of Belgrade-Bar railway section, construction of Valjevo-Loznica railway and modernization of Niš-Dimitrovgrad railway.
