The German company Hatiba, which processes metal for the construction industry, has launched operations in Knjazevac. The company has bought the facility of the former Inpos, and the investment is worth EUR 1.2 million.

– I have chosen to cooperate with people in Serbia, as I build my business relations on trust. In Serbia, I have found people I can trust. The value of this investment is EUR 1.2 million. Half of what is produced will be sold in the German market, whereas the other half will be sold in the Serbian one – said Jorg Marcus Ficks, the director of Hatiba.

The president of the Municipality of Knjazevac, Milan Djokic, announced that another wood processing factory would open on Friday, according to the official Facebook profile of the Municipality of Knjazevac.

As announced earlier, some workers have already been employed, and unofficially, 50 workers will be employed in the first phase.
