The president of the CCIS, Marko Cadez, said that it wasn't a simple campaign promoting local products, but a whole new philosophy.
Cadez told RTS that a collective trademark called “housekeeper” had been created and that it was supposed to show not only that a product is made in Serbia, but also how, of what quality it is and how much local knowledge, raw materials and work was invested in it.
– When a purchaser sees this trademark in stores, they know that more than 80% of work and value from Serbia was invested in that product – Cadez said.
He notes that it's a new philosophy for consumers, as they know that domestic suppliers were involved in the making of a product, which creates money for the renovation of schools.
