The President of Galeb Group, Radoslav Veselinović, estimated that the activation of the Transient Trade Agreement with European Union (EU) would have positive influence on the operations of that company and other export-oriented Serbian companies.

- Galeb Group is export-oriented company and we expect to increase our export this year by about 30% - said Veselinović, adding that the growth of both total export and export to the EU market was expected.

He said that the company's products were mainly exported to Italy, Slovenia, the countries of East Europe and nearly all countries of the region. He also added that the negotiations on export of goods to the market of Germany were underway.

However, Veselinović also mentioned that not all Serbian companies were in the same position because those with the focus on domestic market only would probably have to deal with "some competition from abroad". He repeated that, according to his estimate, activation of that agreement was generally positive for Serbian entrepreneurs.
