HORES Creates “Clean and Safe” Stamp for Tourist Facilities

The Business Association of Hotel and Restaurant Industry of Serbia (HORES) has announced that, influenced by the European members of HOTREC, it has created the “Clean and Safe” stamp which should provide hotels and restaurants with a certificate which will mark them as safe facilities for tourist activities.

This makes for a proscription of rules on hygienic and health and safety measures in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the domestic national health institutions, with the aim of preventing the spreading of COVID-19 and other infections.

With the introduction of a single, recognizable certificate, potential guests could be informed about safe zones and make reservations for themselves and their families, the press release says.

The National Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) will inform their partners and promote Serbia in the world as a safe destination, with measures preventing the spreading of the virus, HORES says in its press release.

As added, “Clean and Safe” was created jointly by HORES and TOS, with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
