Construction of Belgrade - Požega highway in second half of 2005 - 730 million EUR, investors - Alpine, GMP, Vinci ?

Minister of Capital Investments, Velimir Ilić, announced that the technical construction of Belgrade - Požega highway could start in the second half of the year 2005.

It was announced that the tender would be announced after the Assembly of Serbia approved concessions for its construction. Highway on the section from Belgrade to Požega would have 4 + 2 lanes. Construction of 10 junctions along with 8 km of bridges and 13 km of tunnels is planned.

Amount of 730 million EUR is necessary for construction of this section 148 km long. Potential investors are "Alpine", "GMP", "Vinči" and others.
