Concession Area for Gondola Between Kotor and Lovcen Extended – Construction of Additional Features at Kuk Station Possible, Tendering Procedure in Preparation

At the session held on Monday, the Government of Montenegro considered and adopted the concession act for the realization of the Kotor-Lovcen gondola project.

After the previous tender for the realization of the Kotor-Lovcen project was declared unsuccessful, as no bids had been sent before the deadline of February 28, 2020, at the suggestion of the Government, the concession act was amended in the sense of an increase of the concession area at the Kuk station.

– The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism has prepared a new concession act, whereby the concession area has been expanded. In addition to the location for the construction of the Kuk terminal, the concession area now also covers the space needed for the accompanying features (parking lots, restaurants etc.). The ministry is in charge of carrying out all the necessary activities toward the opening of the invitation for bids for the awarding of the agreement on the concession for the realization of the Kotor-Lovcen gondola project – the government announced.
