New water factory Vlasina put in operation - over 3m EUR invested in Crna Trava-based unit

- Water factory Vlasina in Crna Trava has started trial production of bottled spring water from the spring at 1,500 meters above the sea level on Vtop mountain - said the people from that company.
CEO and owner of water factory Vlasina, Rade Đurić, told Beta agency that over 3m EUR had been invested in the water factory to the date and that the factory was built at about 1,500 square meters according to the highest standards.
Đurić said that the capacity of the Water factory was 4,000 units of water per hour, that is, 120,000 liters of water per day, as well as that the spring was hermetically closed, that it had no contact with air and that there was no chance for the water to get dirty in any way.
He said that water was being bottled in the packagings of 0.6 and 1.5 liters and that water would soon be bottled in six-liter packaging.
- We are focused on foreign markets at the moment. Several trucks with water have already left for Switzerland, and we are currently negotiating with Swedish companies. Our water will also be offered to the domestic market in spring, when the regular production starts - said Đurić.
The water factory is about 6 km away from Strazimirovci, the border crossing with Bulgaria.
Crna Trava is the smallest municipality in Serbia with about 2,200 inhabitants, and it is among 40 most underdeveloped municipalities.
