MapSoft became member of European family of orthophoto data makers - partnership contract signed with AeroGRID

Belgrade's geomatics company MapSoft signed the partnership contract with AeroGRID at the end of 2009 and, thus, became member of the European family of orthophoto data makers.

Over the last three months, AeroGRID has also signed partnership contracts with Greek company Geomatics and Israeli Ofek.

- Geomatics, MapSoft and Ofek joined the growing list of AeroGRID's partners who have significant strength in their respective markets - said Miles Taylor, CEO of AeroGRID.

AeroGRID has one of the world's largest databases of orthophoto data with over 1m square kilometers of national coverage and over 10m square kilometres of coverage in other countries through its partners. Also, this company also owns high-resolution orthophoto data for the majority of cities in Europea and North America.

With the fleet of 11 airplanes and 11 digital cameras, the partners of company AeroGRID are one of the biggest manufacturers in the world of photgrammetry. AeroGRID's offer also includes the digital models of terrain, infrared and thermal shots, street mapping and 3D models of facilities.
