AHK grants Energy Efficiency Awards

The Delegate Office of German Industry and Commerce for Serbia and Montenegro informs the companies from the industrial field in Serbia and the region that they can take part in the ongoing international contest for this year's Energy Efficiency Awards if they submit their applications prior to February 7, 2010, to http://www.industrie-energieeffizienz.de/eea2010.
The awards will be granted to the companies that applied innovative solutions to increase energy efficiency or produce positive effects on overall ecology, that is, the solutions that are applicable to other companies as well.
The prizes in amount of 30,000 EUR are granted by German Energy Agency (Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH / DENA) within the scope of the Energy Efficiency Initiative, in association with German Trade Fair and DZ Bank AG.
The awards will be granted on April 20th, 2010, at the Hannover Trade Fair (Hannover Messe 2010). The DENA Manager, Stephan Kohler, says that "all those companies that have managed to optimize their production in regard to energy efficiency over the last few years will be able to make significant profit as soon as the economic situation improves and the energy prices grow".
The first prize will amount to 15,000 EUR, while the second and the third will amount to 10,000 and 5,000 EUR, respectively.
