Uniprom KAP to Open Billet Factory in September

Despite the coronavirus crisis, the Podgorica-based company Uniprom KAP continues to assemble a factory of billets, which should open in September.

The company announced that the production capacity would be 70,000 tons, meant for the foreign market.

– Also, negotiations about the construction of a new factory of aluminum slabs, an investment worth EUR 20 million, have been completed. Uniprom KAP will soon officially sign the agreement – the press release says.

The factory, as they said, will have a capacity of 35,000 tons.

Aluminum slabs are used to produce sheet metal and many other products often used in the automotive industry.

– The completion of the factory, which will be equipped with the most modern technologies, is planned by the end of next year – the press release adds.
