The National Employment Service announced that, even after the lifting of the state of emergency, it had adapted its operations to new circumstances, so as to enable their users to get some services electronically.
From Monday, May 11, those looking for a job can apply to be registered, file a request for monetary compensation for unemployment and file a request for the issuing of certificate from the unemployment register and complete the “Way to a Successful Entrepreneur” training course, all electronically.
Also, employers can electronically file applications of the need for employment, requests for participation in programs of active employment policy, for the issuing of opinions regarding the Program of Resolving the Issue of Surplus Workers and the issuing of working permits for foreigners.
Those who seek jobs and have a meeting with their designated officer within the NES scheduled will be notified about the dates electronically or by phone within the deadline proscribed by law.
Direct contact with clients will only be an option when there is no possibility of filing a request electronically and in those fields where direct communication is necessary. All the proscribed protection measures apply.
Information about the operations of the National Employment Service is available at nzs.gov.rs.
