The Managing Board of the Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services (HANFA) has allowed the Osijek-based company Grifon Aset Menadzment to found and manage an open alternative investment fund for investments in cryptocurrencies.

As announced by the regulatory agency, the Fund is to be established as an alternative investment fund with a private offer for investments in crypto property – specializing in investments in bitcoin, Indikator.ba reports.

The investors can be persons who can be treated as professional investors in line with the Law on Capital Market or can be treated as professional investors and qualified investors at their own request.

In the period of the initial offer, the payment of the initial amount can be made in cash or property, but exclusively in bitcoin form, the information says.
