Investors compete for construction of wind farm in Negotin

The possibility of construction of a wind park on the territory of the municipality of Negotin has caused a great interest among potential investors, so that the representatives of Solar Wind Energy expressed the readiness in the talks with the President of the Municipal Temporary Organ, Ljubiša Đorđević, to install their measuring poles on Popadija in order to check the profitability of this investment.

It was heard during the talks that Solar Wind Energy was interested in construction of wind farm of 45 MW, as well as that it would soon send the letter of intent to local self-government.

Austrian company Pricon Business Creation, with the headquarters in Novi Sad, is also interested in construction of wind generators on the territory of the municipality of Negotin, and its representatives have recently spoken to the officials of local self-government. Pricon Business Creation deals with construction of wind farms all around Europe for years and, during the stay in Negotin, the company's representatives presented the projects they implemented in Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The company's plan is to build a wind farm with ten 2 MW turbines on the territory of the municipality of Negotin within next year. The representatives of this Austrian company are interested in forming a new firm within the company on the territory of Negotin.
