- We are still trying to make it possible for Serbia to gain back 25% of ownership of Jugorosgaz in order to have the same share in that company as the Russian partner - said Srbijagas' CEO Dušan Bajatović.

- Srbijagas is still trying to win back the lost share in order to become equal partner - Bajatović told in the interview for newspaper Politika.

He said that there was nothing new in the SPBOK's investigation concerning the way in which Serbia had lost the share of 25% in Jugorosgaz.

When Jugorosgaz was founded in accordance with the international agreement, as the mediator in the procurement of gas from Russia, Serbia had the share of 50% in that company, and it now has only 25%. On the occasion of the talks about takeover of the lost share, Bajatović said that it was not true that it would be cheaper for Serbia to sell its share in Jugorosgaz than to buy the lost share back.
