More checkups per day - Clinical Hospital "Bežanijska kosa" to purchase medical console and networking equipment

The Health Care Secretariat of the City of Belgrade will purchase medical console and networking equipment for existing machines for computer tomography and magnetic resonance for Clinical Hospital "Bežanijska kosa".

Computer tomography is a radiological method for testing almost all organs: scull and brain, chest, abdomen, extremities. The machine for magnetic resonance utilizes magnetic fields and radio-waves instead of X-rays to get clear and detailed images of various internal organs and tissues.

– Purchase of the console and the networking equipment is necessary for quality work and larger number of patients in the X-ray diagnostics ward. This equipment will significantly improve the quality of checkups and enable some that have never been done before (virtual bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.), as well as filing of data, records, statistical errors, and smaller consumption of X-ray films – said Dr. Zoran Blagojević, the City Health Care Secretary.
