New Business Opportunities to Appear After the Pandemic

New business opportunities will appear after the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, including those in the field of high technology. However, not all businesses in Russia will be able to survive the crisis, said Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov in his interview on the Russia-1 TV channel, as reported by TASS.

– The crises of 2008 and 2014 were probably the first ones to affect small and medium enterprises, but never to this extent. But, life will definitely continue. There will be changes and it's clear that not all business will be able to survive. The demand structure will change, but, at the same time, new opportunities for recovery will appear, both for SMEs and in the high-tech sphere – Reshetnikov assessed.

He said earlier that the country's economy was losing about 100 billion rubles (USD 1.34 billion) daily due to pandemic limitations.
