Air Serbia Loses More Than EUR 35 Million Due to Pandemic

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated on April 22 that the biggest losses in the transport sector were in the passenger transport segment and that air transport was likely the most affected, with Air Serbia's losses estimated at over EUR 35 million.

As said in the ministry's press release, Mihajlovic added that the company had transported around 13,000 citizens of Serbia since the declaration of the state of emergency.

She said that around 100,000 trucks had entered Serbia since March 13, half of which for Serbia's needs and around 45,000 for the supply of the region.
