Dynamo, Visual Programming Tool Expanding the Power of Revit

A better understanding of software gives us the feeling of having mastered the tools better. Dynamo is a visual programming tool which works with Revit. Dynamo expands the power of Revit by giving access to the Revit API in a more user-friendly way. Instead of typing in a code, with Dynamo, you create programs by manipulating graphical elements called nodes.

In Dynamo, you can simply browse the library in order to find whichever node you need.

Users can create a library of nodes, or “packages”, and include them in the central storage. This storage is directly accessible from Dynamo. In order to install a package, simply click “download” and it will install directly in Dynamo.
